AAIA study materials: ISACA's official prep, free resources and what to avoid
Direct answer
ISACA sells four AAIA prep products: an Online Review Course, a six-month subscription to its Questions, Answers and Explanations (QAE) database of 200+ questions, the Review Manual in digital or print, and a Virtual Workshop. Free: the outline, the candidate guide, a 12-question practice quiz and, for members, an online study group. Sites selling “real exam questions” offer content ISACA's exam rules forbid anyone to share.
ISACA's store sets prep prices, which change, so CertArc doesn't repeat them.
The outline is the coverage checklist. Prep products teach and test it, but only the outline defines what the exam covers.

Original teaching example
A colleague shares a “real AAIA exam questions” PDF and says everyone uses it. It includes a question about a model's validation report, with one answer marked correct and no explanation.
If the content were real, it would exist only because someone broke ISACA's rule against retaining or sharing exam content. If it isn't real, you would be memorizing answers nobody checked. Either way, it doesn't teach you to judge a validation report you haven't seen. Use the outline and legitimate practice instead.
ISACA's paid prep products
Four products, all optional.
The Online Review Course gives on-demand instruction. The Review Manual is a reference guide in digital or print. The Virtual Workshop is an in-depth virtual training event. The QAE is a six-month subscription to a database of 200+ questions in ISACA's own style.
Is the QAE enough practice?
It is official practice in ISACA's question style, not a measure of readiness.
Whether it is enough depends on your gaps and how you use it. Review the explanation for every option, not only your misses, and go back to the outline subarea when a concept is new.
Free official resources
The outline, the candidate guide, the 12-question quiz and, for members, the Engage study group.
Read the outline first and keep it beside you. The quiz shows ISACA's question style: ISACA says its questions come from its test prep solutions at the same level of difficulty as the exam.
Unofficial PDFs and dumps
Avoid them. ISACA's rules forbid copying, memorizing, recording or sharing exam content.
Every candidate accepts ISACA's Terms of Use for exams at registration. ISACA states a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent test-taking, with score nullification or certification revocation, and the candidate guide adds bans from ISACA exams for misconduct.
ISACA sells the Review Manual and the QAE; neither is among its free resources. CertArc never links to copied manuals or “real exam question” sites.
Where CertArc fits
Original practice with coaching, not official ISACA material.
CertArc's AAIA questions are written to ISACA's published outline, not recalled from the exam. After each answer, Your answer shows what you chose, your confidence and your miss reason; Compare the answers sets all four options side by side; and the CertArc AAIA Lens gives the auditor's decision frame and the trap in the question. A free baseline shows where to start, and study sprints cover each domain.

Frequently asked questions
Is the AAIA QAE worth it?
It is ISACA's official practice in its own question style, sold as a six-month subscription to a 200+ question database. It isn't required; whether it's worth it depends on your gaps and budget.
Is a free AAIA Review Manual PDF legal?
ISACA sells the Review Manual and doesn't list it among its free resources. A free copy elsewhere is not an ISACA release.
Are dump sites real AAIA exam questions?
ISACA forbids anyone to retain, recreate or share exam content. Either a dump breaks those rules or it isn't real, and neither teaches judgment.
What does ISACA give away free for AAIA?
The outline, the candidate guide, a 12-question practice quiz and, for members, the Engage study group.
How long is the AAIA QAE subscription?
Six months, according to ISACA's AAIA page.
Are CertArc's AAIA questions official?
No. They are original questions written to ISACA's published outline. CertArc is independent of ISACA.
