The answer is the beginning of the review
Knowing a security concept and choosing how to apply it are different skills. CertArc helps you practise both: answer a scenario, compare the alternatives, and use your results to decide what needs another look.
When two choices both look plausible, the useful question is what separates them. Was one outside the actor’s authority? Did it solve a different problem? Did it happen too early? Or did a technical fact rule it out?
CertArc’s review helps you compare the choices and record why you missed an answer. Read the explanation even when you were correct but uncertain. A remembered letter is weaker evidence than an explanation you can apply to a different scenario.

If a concept is unfamiliar, study it before doing more questions on autopilot. CertArc supplies practice and review evidence; it does not replace the official outline, authoritative concept study, or the experience requirements for certification. Its fixed-form practice is not ISC2’s adaptive exam.

Does the warmup count?
Yes. The five guided questions and twenty assessment questions form one 25-answer personal baseline.
Does a practice percentage predict a pass?
No. Use it alongside coverage, confidence and your ability to explain unfamiliar scenarios. It does not convert into an official score.
Are these official questions?
No. CertArc provides independent original practice, not recalled exam content or official ISC2 explanations.
Can I use only the free path?
You can use the included sessions during the free-access period. Whether that is sufficient preparation depends on your existing knowledge and remaining gaps; the allowance is not a promise of exam readiness.
What if I need more practice?
